The Wood Buffalo Massage & Osteopathic Therapy Clinic Foundation was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves access to compassionate, effective, and conservative healthcare, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Our story began with the Wood Buffalo Massage & Osteopathic Therapy Clinic, which has proudly served the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo since 2021. From the very beginning, our founders recognized that financial barriers often prevented people from receiving the care they needed. In response, the clinic remained committed to making Therapeutic Massage as accessible as possible, including offering affordable options for individuals without insurance or those who had exhausted their benefits. This commitment inspired our community-driven promise: "No Insurance, No Problem."
Rooted in the Filipino value of malasakit—a deep sense of compassion, empathy, and genuine care for others—our team has always believed that healthcare is more than treatment; it is an opportunity to serve, uplift, and restore hope.
As the need within our community continued to grow, so did our vision. In 2025, we established the Wood Buffalo Massage & Osteopathic Therapy Clinic Foundation to expand that commitment by providing free Therapeutic Massage and Manual Osteopathic care to eligible low-income seniors and persons with disabilities.
Today, the Foundation works alongside generous donors, volunteers, and community partners to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life for those who need it most. Every individual we serve reflects the spirit of malasakit in action—a commitment to compassion, dignity, and accessible healthcare that strengthens our entire community.

I believe that strong communities are built when people come together to care for one another. As healthcare professionals, we have the privilege of improving lives not only through treatment, but also through service and advocacy.
As the President and Chairman of the Board of the Wood Buffalo Massage & Osteopathic Therapy Clinic Foundation, I am committed to providing strategic leadership that advances our mission of improving access to manual therapy services for seniors, persons with disabilities, and individuals experiencing financial hardship.
Throughout my journey in healthcare and community leadership, I have learned that meaningful change begins with compassion and collaboration. My goal is to help build a Foundation that not only provides care, but also creates opportunities for volunteers, healthcare professionals, community organizations, and donors to work together in strengthening our community.
I believe every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and less pain. Through the Foundation, I hope we can continue removing barriers to care while fostering a culture of generosity, service, and hope for future generations.

Healthcare has always been more than a profession for me—it has been a calling. Throughout my career, I have been privileged to help individuals reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve their quality of life through compassionate, patient-centered care.
As a Director of the Wood Buffalo Massage & Osteopathic Therapy Clinic Foundation, I am committed to advancing our mission of improving access to care for seniors, persons with disabilities, and individuals facing financial hardship. I believe that quality healthcare should be compassionate, accessible, and centered on the needs of every individual.
My background in Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy, Manual Osteopathy, and Social Service Work has reinforced my belief that healing extends beyond treating physical conditions. It is about supporting people with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion.
Through the Foundation, I hope to inspire a culture of generosity, volunteerism, and community partnership so that together we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Serving others has been the foundation of my career for nearly two decades. From practicing internationally as a Physical Therapist to continuing my healthcare journey in Canada, I have always believed that compassion and kindness are just as important as clinical knowledge.
As a Director of the Wood Buffalo Massage & Osteopathic Therapy Clinic Foundation, I am proud to support initiatives that improve access to healthcare for those who need it most. Our Foundation exists because we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthier, more comfortable life, regardless of their financial circumstances. I believe meaningful healthcare begins by listening to every person's story and treating them with dignity, empathy, and respect. Through community partnerships, volunteerism, and charitable programs, I hope we can continue making a lasting, positive impact throughout the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
